Beelz on 2021-01-11 said:
I'm still waiting on an interview date since beginning of Dec unfortunately
Meli022 on 2021-06-15 said:
Did you ever have your interview?
Beelz on 2021-06-15 said:
still waiting, it hasn't left NVC yet which is awful
Meli022 on 2021-06-15 said:
That is awful to hear. I dont understand how they are still this backlogged. Im hoping to be DQ sometime in July and this is not good news at all. So sorry for your wait....please keep us updated!!
Meli022 on 2021-06-15 said:
Is this for a spouse? US Citizen or LPR? Thank you so much for any response!
Beelz on 2021-06-16 said:
Yep its for my spouse, and I am a Citizen, it didn't take us long to get DQ after submitting all papers online, I think it was like a week to 10 days from what I remember. You should hear from them soon hopefully. Once you get there that's where they'll till you to wait for an interview date.
Meli022 on 2021-06-16 said:
Thank you so much for responding. I heard on the town-hall meeting in May on the US embassy site that they were supposed to be boosting productivity in June and July with an effort to start catching up. Prioritizing IR1/CR1 USC/Jordanian citizens first so hopefully you'll hear something soon! Please keep us posted its so hard finding anyone on here from Jordan who actually updates LOL I am living abroad in Jordan with my husband but I'm so ready to get back to NY!!!
Beelz on 2021-06-23 said:
No problem, yea not many of us on here. I just heard the same thing a few days ago, my wife went to an office somewhere in Amman to see if she can find any updates (I'm in NY so I can't do much here) and apparently the problem is from Jordan side not from NVC, they're so behind and she told her that they're catching up, they're still processing applications from late August and ours was completed early Dec so we going to check again after Eid to see where they up to.
Nylmaris on 2021-06-29 said:
Meli022 what you mean jordanian citizen first? im in same boat waiting interview
Meli022 on 2021-06-29 said:
Beelz-Please update after EID. Do you know where in Amman she went? I'll have my husband do the same thing haha. Im happy to hear they are catching up but gosh late August? Thats scary! Hopefully you will be in soon because this is crazy. I'm still not DQ'd yet but should be this week or next at the latest. I'm seeing its about a 28-30 day wait. I just want to get in line for an interview because I'm tired of living here haha Anyways thanks again!! Nylmaris-Because the Amman embassy allows citizens from outside Jordan to interview there they are prioritizing Jordanian citizens married or engaged to US Citizens first before any other visas. Thats what I heard on the call in May... Hopefully your interview is scheduled soon!
Beelz on 2021-07-26 said:
I'm not sure what office she goes to in "Swefeya" she checked with them yesterday and they're up to October to mid October for DQ'd applications, have you been DQ'd yet? They seem to have went thru applications maybe a bit quicker than they were before
Meli022 on 2021-07-26 said:
I got the dreaded case FE note! So frustrating. I resubmitted today. Took 7 weeks. There was a glitch end of May/early June that had a ton of cases getting delayed to the NVC system. Seems now they are back on track. Hopefully it will only take 5-6 weeks and I can get DQ by the end of August. So would you agree in a months time they moved 1.5 months? I guess? Hopefully they keep up this pace. I was hoping to be done by December but thats a pipedream now lol
Beelz on 2021-12-14 said:
just an update, got an email on 12/8/21 said we should hear an appt soon and our status changed from At NVC to in Transit, on 12/12/21 it changed again to Ready and today on 12/14/21 we got an interview date for 12/29/21 hopefully things go well.
Meli022 on 2021-12-14 said:

Hi everyone happy new year any news ? 8 months we still waiting
Beelz on 2022-01-14 said:
Hi, we got a letter today saying they have to do administrative processing and we still waiting
Meli022 on 2022-01-15 said:
That's so annoying. What did they claim they needed now? What info wasn't good enough for them? This is such BS. I keep seeing everyone being put into AP. They just continue dragging out this process. Good luck and please keep us posted. Hopefully you'll hear back quickly!
Meli022 on 2022-01-15 said:
Did they keep her passport at least?
Beelz on 2022-01-15 said:
It's very annoying they took her passport then gave it back a few days later with a piece of paper to answer 10 questions for AP. According to my wife they said everything looks good and barely asked her why questions. No idea why they doing AP
Meli022 on 2022-01-23 said:
Literally so ridiculous. Keep us posted! Sorry you're going through this. Hopefully super soon and this mess will be over with!!
Meli022 on 2022-02-15 said:

Beelz on 2022-02-15 said:
You'd think so but unfortunatly nope still under AP, this process is unbelievable. How about you?
Meli022 on 2022-02-15 said:
Omg!! Unbelievable. No I haven't heard anything at all. Not expecting to until October at the earliest at this point. I'm so sorry. This is such BS.
Beelz on 2022-03-03 said:

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
