Comments : Initial Application send 4-12-07 but was adjusted to 7-19-07 after additional funds were required. Additional info requested 11-14-07(Circumstance of Meeting / Last Meeting) They requested additional proof that we met prior to my filing I129-F. I don't understand this request as I sent in plenty of photos with original application(no dates). Re-submitted pictures with corresponding dates along with passport pages and copies of hotel receipts.

12-4-07 RFE Received by USCIS

Touched at least 5 times to 2-25-08

2-25-08 Requested "Investigation" Told to allow 45 days :(

4-3-08 emailed Congresswoman to request intervention.

Learned today that our NOA-2 was approved had been sent through the mail in Dec. 07 Although repeated calls to USCIS Operator was told that Status was still pending. Also received NVC dated 1-11-06. What a relief!!!

Update: never received Packet fron RDj consulate but my fiance had medical exams and police reports completes in November 2007. She downloaded the documents necessary for her interview from the Rio de Janeiro Embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
