Hello, did you do a K-3, physical submission of I-129F as well as your I-130 application? Or an expedite? Thanks!

@C&S_21, no. I've researched and found the K3 isn't as beneficial as it's supposed to be. We filed the I-130 only, not expedite.

Good day Boss, pls kindly avail me with necessary information about this immigration process. Pls, this morning today I was notified that am documentarily qualified. I should hold for my interview. I want to know how long it will take for me to be scheduled for the interview and during the wait time what do I need to do. However, did you at anytime expedite the process so your interview can come quickly.? Thank you as I await on your response. Theo
TIO1 on 2023-04-14 said:
@Almasterpix,
1. For the interview, it took us 2 years from our application submission date and 1 year 4 months from our DQ date.
2. You should continue to gather bona-fide marriage evidence while you wait. You should have it from the time of your dating up through the interview date. They want to see that you have consistently acted as a real married couple. The more evidence the better.
3. Our expedite request was denied.

Hi TIO1. Did y'all have to do another police report. Also was there any documentation that was already submitted that you had to update. E.g. Tax return or transcript
TIO1 on 2023-04-15 said:
@Chn89, we did not need a new police report, the police report is good for 2 years. Yes, income has to be updated to the most current tax year. They sent an email after the interview was scheduled providing a list of what was needed for the interview; it specified 2021 income (I suppose since 2022 taxes weren't due yet). We uploaded it to CEAC and he took a copy to the interview along with the Affidavit of Support application. We provided tax transcripts for 2016 through 2021. We included W2s and 1099s (self-employment tax form) for 2020 and 2021. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html

Awesome! This is very helpful. Thanks
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
