Local US CIS Office Review: Charleston SC

Event Description

Embassy Review : The Charleston office serves most of the state of South Carolina, some parts of North Carolina and Georgia. Both Application Service Center and field office are very close to each other. The field office is big enough for the numbers it process and is adequately staffed. The front-line security guards are courteous and check you before sending in. The first counter in the left checks you in for whatever he appointment you have. My appointment is for naturalization interview and so was checked in 5 minutes I entered the building. The officer that interviewed me was sweet and made me be at ease. She handled everything nice and approved me in 10 minutes. All the staff are are very friendly and act to your need, relatively fast. There is a medium size oath ceremony hall that fits about 25-30 people at once to administer oath ceremonies. The staff offered to take pictures of the new citizens which is a nice gesture. Overall it was a very pleasant experience in Charleston Field office.
Harassment Level : Very Good
