Event Description

Embassy Review : CR1 & CR2

Entrance:
DS-260, and Passport

Pre-screening: window 40
Birth Cert, Marriage Cert, My Cemar, NBI, 2x2 photos
Questions:
Who’s your petitioner?
His full name?
Why are you late registered? (i also gave my baptismal cert)
Confirmed my complete name & my child's name
He then asked for the complete names of my parents
He also asked me if I am nurse, when did I resigned, and what company
When is your birthday?
Place of birth?
Are you both previously married?
Do you have a child?
How old?
Is he the father of your child?
He returned our 2x2 photos and my baptismal certificate

Fingerprints taken after pre screening.. (window 50)

Interview:
He asked me to raise my right hand and make an oath to answer all the questions honestly. I did my finger scan twice for me & my child. Before the interview started he gave me two pamphlets about domestic violence & explained it to me.

Questions:
Who’s your petitioner?
What is his name?
Where was he born?
How did you meet?
When did you first start talking?
How many times has he visited?
Span of his stays?
Who petitioned him?
How long has he been in the US?
Is he living alone?
Are you going to live with them?
What does he do for a living?
Was he previously married?
Are you previously married?
Do you have a child?
How old?
When was he naturalized?

He then returned my documents and asked for his cemar then returned it after checking it.

Tips: If the question is answerable by Yes or No then answer just that. If not, then don’t over explain yourself, make it short. It may looked like it’s a long interview but it’s not because I answered as fast as he questioned me, I answered as brief as I could.

Hi guys! Congratulations on getting your interview date! Did you expedite your case at all?

They definitely did because Manila is only doing expedited cases now.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
