Approved at interview?

No I was refused. I had a 5 year bar since June 2018 for 212(a)(7)(A)(i)(I). So now they said 212(a)(9)(A)(i).

So first this happened: "if the CBP inspector subjects a visa holder to expedited removal, this decision carries a 5-year bar to entering the United States," and then this: "makes inadmissible, and therefore ineligible for a visa, any alien who has been ordered removed under INA 235(b)(1) or INA 240 as an arriving alien, and who seeks admission within 5 years (or 20 years if second or subsequent removal or at any time if convicted of an aggravated felony) of the date of such removal, unless prior permission has been granted (see 9 FAM 302.11-2(B)(5))." Did you do this: "file Form I-212 (Application for Permission to Reapply for Admission into the United States After Deportation or Removal) to obtain "Consent to Reapply" (CTR) before he/she can lawfully return to the United States"?

I did file an I-212 6 months after in February 2018 but our package was lacking a lot of documents relating to Bonafide marriage. So it got denied in April 2018. Also it had been few months since we submitted the I-130 (August 2019) and it wasn’t approved at that time. So basically it was too soon and should have waited till after approval. We currently working on filing an I-212 again. I have gathered all my documents but I am just waiting for my RCMP record, since it’s different from consular processing. I did fingerprints on March 9. It’s taking longer this time. If you have any extra information please let me know. Hopefully once my journey is complete, I hope I can be an assistance to someone.

Hi there, I need to file a I-601 waiver. Do you know if the waiver should be sent from the petitioner's USA address and the fee should be paid from the USA account or filing it from Canada is ok paying from a Canadian account is ok ? Thank you

Hey, so I filed a I-212 only, even though the consulate sent me the I—601 instructions. My category only requires an I-601. So, I couriered my documents to my husband in the states and he couriered it to the local USCIS office closest to where the removal happened. We paid using check from our US bank. In the instructions it says to pay from a US bank and in USD. But if you want to pay from from Canada it’s says to contact your nearest embassy or consulate on how to process payments. If you need any help, message me and there is a group on Facebook.
