Consulate Review: Warsaw, Poland
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 16, 2021
Embassy Review : Had an appointment at 9:30am. First, before getting in, I had to go to the designed window outside the embassy to have my passport checked and after that I could get in. I was directed to go to the window 13 to get a ticket the number, then i got all my documents checked by a very nice lady (they asked for my birth certificate, police records from Poland and marriage certificate). Then i had to wait for about 1,5hrs (there were already people waiting in the waiting room) until i got called in. The officer asked if all the information on my ds260 are true and wanted me to take the oath - i told him that i have corrected my last name (DS form was still with my maiden name) and at the end i didn't take the oath. He asked me how I met my husband, what's my current occupation, we had a little chitchat about UVA and he said "your visa has been approved, we will send it and your passport to you within 2 business days). And that was it. The interview lasted 2 minutes. It was super cold inside so it's better to wear something warm 😉 i left the embassy at around 11:30am. There were some people who came before me and still weren't interviewed but i guess their cases were more complicated than mine.
Rating : Very Good

Hi, I'm wondering if you mean that 4-15 is the date you submitted everything to NVC, or if you've already heard an answer back from them?

It means my documents were qualified and sent to the embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
