Consulate Review: Madrid, Spain
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 24, 2021
Embassy Review : All good and simple. They will first ask you for some more documents before the interview. Short wait and a consular officer sked a few easy and simple questions about my relationship. Total time, less than an hour.
Rating : Very Good

Hi Carlos & Genevieve- any thoughts or recommendations w/r/t the type of evidence brought? We're thinking photos, letters, postcards, etc. Also, any chance digital photos are acceptable? Or should he go with physical prints? Any insight you may have would be invaluable to us! PS - CONGRATS!!!

Hi! Don't forget to include passport stamps and prove you been together in travels or in each other countries. And date the pictures! It all goes on a physical package, but no USB drives or stuff like that.

Got it, thank youuuu! So kind of you to respond. We may pick your brains when the Adjustment of Status phase comes - I hope it's going alright! I'm an attorney (Tara), so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out! :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
