Hi guys! Did you file for an expedite on your case or an I-129f for the K3 visa? Your I-130 was approved quickly!

Yes I have requested an expedite 3 months after applying

Hi Rahel, We have similar situation. I petition for my husband back in August. He is currently in Ethiopia. And NOA1 is 8/28/19 so far we have not received anything. I have put in service request for being outside of the processing date and waiting to hear from them. Can you tell me how yours got approved so quickly?? What is the reason you asked for expedite? Can anyone ask for it??

What’s your service center? Texas has the fastest service center out of all the other service centers. I requested for an expedite for humanitarian reason in early Nov since there was so many things going on in Ethiopia and I attached 7 articles that talks about the situations as an evidence.

Mine is being processed in Texas services center they not as fat as they claim on the website.

Fast.*

Right! the timeline the said on uscis processing time is actually don’t seem right. requesting for being outside of normal processing time is a good idea though. Hope they will return you back soon.

Did you get a date for interview? I know right now everything is on hold. But how long did take to hear form them after you got your approval?

No I haven't got an interview date since the embassy in Ethiopia is closed right now. 2 months after approval NVC transferred my case to the embassy in Ethiopia.

Did you get interview date yet?

@Taboye No I haven’t I am still waiting

Congrats on getting interview date! Did you ask for expedite for embassy interview or normal processing.

@Tamiru Normal processing

Hello Rich could you inform me your requeste for an expedite for humanitarian reason and attached 7 articles that talks about the situations as an evidence.

@Anduamlak yes, but that was at the USCIS level. I didn't expedite it at NVC

Thanks, good luck !!

Thank you

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
