Hi! I saw that Mumbai has been scheduling interviews, curious if you had one yet?

NandV, No, we do not. The embassy in Mumbai has received out application, but we are still waiting for the letter they are supposed to send to my fiancé there. We are ready to schedule his medical exam, but I read that we must wait until receiving the letter.
If I might ask, how long did it take for you guys to receive that letter?

Thank you for letting me know. We just received the NOA2 actually. I was hoping all of you would have had your interviews scheduled already. Hopefully it happens soon :)

No, no. In my understanding, there are SEVERAL things in between NOA2 and Interview. There is an online application that needs to be filled out once the NVC sends the visa to the embassy in Mumbai. Then fees must be paid by both parties, Affidavit of Support and financial proof must be filed, then Medical Exam, and THEN I think the Interview gets scheduled. But until all of the other stuff is done, they have no reason to even schedule you, you know?

Do you know when it actually got to NVC? It shows same receipt and left time. I'm wondering since I just got NOA2 and wondering when it might get to embassy. Med student with limited vacation availability.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
