Interview was scheduled for 7:30am. The process was smooth and orderly. The embassy was working with very limited capacity as there was only one CO interviewing as at the time.
1st Booth
Took my fingerprints and original documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, passport photos, police clearance certificate and Affidavit of Support and W2’s)
2nd Booth (CO)
Took the oath and finger prints
Interview questions
Asked if my husband was petitioning me
How long we had been married
Where he lived in the US
If I knew how he immigrated to the US
How long had he lived in the US
Had I been married before
Had he been married before
Did we have any children
His occupation
My occupation in Ghana
Asked if we also conducted a marriage ceremony in the US
Checked the Affidavit of Support and tax returns and W2’s
When was the last time I saw my husband
Took my passport and said he was satisfied and I was approved. He proceeded to hand me the Domestic Violence sheet to read and a slip on how to pick the passport and visa.

Congratulations! Did NVC reschedule your interview for August or the embassy did the rescheduling?

Ok. Thanks for your response!
May I know if the embassy has reschedule your interview again
Mizq on 2020-09-10 said:No they have not, the embassy is still closed
JR&AK on 2020-12-19 said:Hi, hope all is well. I wanted to know if you’ve heard from the embassy about rescheduling the interviews. Our August interview was canceled and no new date yet.
Damn you could’ve had your visa in less than a year, had it not been for covid.
Mizq on 2021-04-15 said:Thanks. Yep, covid has significantly delayed this visa
Was your case expedited prior to being rescheduled? Also congratulations!
Mizq on 2021-04-30 said:No, there was no expedite

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
