Expedited processing due to car accident.

Hi! Congrats! When were you DQd?

Hi we had the interview but they took the passport but needed his medical. He didn’t have time as it was an expedited request due to me being in a car accident. I hope all is ok. I am nervous as this is the last thing.

I'm sure everything is OK. When were your documents qualified? August? Hope you're doing better since the accident!

Yes, august 2020. I hope all is okay too. I am in therapy 5 days a week. It was a bad crash. A drunk driver hit me head on. He had a ban under the Muslim ban from January 2017. It was stupid as he had a tourist visa and they took his phone for hours. It said my love as my name. They tagged him as an intending immigrant. He was not and only came to visit. He didn’t know the address as I rented professor temp housing while he was here. We may have to file another form to get that removed. The embassy said they needed his medical and they wanted to review his immigration docs. So I am assuming it is that. We met in 2015. I hope all is ok.

What qualified him for the ban? The fact that he didn't know your address and they thought he was going to stay!? Omgosh so glad you're OK!!!

Yes that is why they banned him. They said he was an intending immigrant. We have an attorney working on it. He was interviewed on English and he didn’t even speak english. The attorney pulled all of his docs from freedom of information and that is exactly why. He came here on a tourist visa. Trump put a Muslim ban in effect and when he came to visit. The border said he was an intending immigrant when he was not.

They did it because he had my name as “my love” and he didn’t know the address. Crazy... they sent him back to Algiers after he traveled here with a legit tourist visa.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
