Hi there, congratulations on your green card approval!! My husband currently has a green card application at the San Francisco office as well. Just wanted to ask a couple of questions about your experience if you don't mind. Did you have a green card interview, or did it get approved without an interview? (Since there wasn't an interview date mentioned, I thought I'd ask.) Also, did you expedite your GC application? Looks like you got yours approved quicker than the average time for SF, so just wondering! Congrats again!

Hey, thanks!!! We did not have an interview, it was approved without it. We didn’t expedite our case either! COVID delayed our case a lot we applied for the K1 in 2019. Was such a Long process. But I did, check out your timeline, we also got a RFE asking for a copy of our wedding certificate as well then a few weeks later (nearly a month) we were approved! I imagine the same will happen for you!

Thanks so much for this reply! I'm glad at least the green card process was faster for you than the K1 process! That's really interesting that you also got an RFE for a copy of your wedding certificate, a few weeks before you got approved. I hope that means we'll get approved soon too! :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
