Hey guys! Have you heard anything from the National Benefits Center about your case? I saw in some other forums that you can call the center if there has been a delay of more than 60 days following a transfer.

I called the USCIS and they told me it is in the Boston Field Office. Do you have a link to the other forum?

The forum was on Facebook for the cases that were transferred from California Center to Potomac in January. I can try to find it again. It's in a field office? That's a little...odd. Are you doing an AOS in the US or are you applying for the visa abroad?

We are applying from abroad. I also thought it was quite strange, but my lawyer said it is normal.

This is the first I have ever heard of a case being sent to a field office. Maybe you can post the topic in the forum and see if anyone else shares your experience and if they have any recommendations. Another user I just spoke to said their transfer letter came with notice that they should receive a decision within 90 days of the transfer, so by February 7th, I think you should consider calling them again. There is a group on the VJ forum for people who have had their cases transferred. They also might be able to offer some advice. Good luck! https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/729086-case-was-transferred-and-a-new-office-has-jurisdiction/#comments

Did you guys ever hear back from the NBC?

I put in an inquiry and got a response from the Boston Field Office. I would assume that means it is there. My lawyer said I shynot be concerned, but I'm going to make an infopass appointment asap.

Thanks, She had and got an RFE for my 2019 tax transcript. I had submitted the actual tax return, but they want the transcript from the IRS. Unfortunately the IRS has been extremely slow with paper returns, My accountant submitted them Nov 3rd.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
