Hi did you had to add your spouse’s name on you passport or PCC?

For Indian passport, in "Name of Spouse" section, it shows spouse name. In our case, the beneficiary did not adopt the petitioner's last name yet and will do so when she gets to America. So the passport shows the original name of the beneficiary.

What if your passports is when you were single would they make us get a new passport for PCC.

That is fine. For example my wife (Indian citizen) had a passport before marriage. We went on honeymoon with this same passport but when applied for I-130 the only change was, she got a new passport that showed my name in the "Spouse Name" section in the back everything else is the same.

The passport number stayed the name when you added the name ?

No, new passport number

Ok thank you

Same situation. NVC case completion on Oct 7 this year. Still no interview. So frustrating.

Mumbai embassy still working on cases approved around May 2020.

Any news guys? Anyone with updates on their own interview status or news you may have on the scheduling progress.
Thanks guys.

If your DQ date is SEP 09, you should receive an Interview letter in MARCH 2020.

Interview has been scheduled for March 15th.

What is your experience today

It was good, I updated the timeline.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
