Comments : Port of entry was pretty smooth sailing. Custom officer was very nice, asked my fiance a few questions before sending him to their office. They asked him a few questions and after 10 minutes or so he was done and we proceeded to leave the airport.

Embassy Review : So I accompanied my fiance to the embassy and we got there pretty early like around 6 am. His interview was scheduled for 7am. We stood at one place until 6:30 or so and then they called the interviewees into a line to enter one building. As they were on the line, the workers were just checking documents ( appointment confirmation letters I guess). Then they went into the building. I stood in a waiting area until his interview was finished, I couldn't go inside with him.

My fiance says when it came to his turn to be interviewed they asked him to swear an oath then the CO asked him:
How did you and your fiance meet?
My fiance answered him and then the CO officer nodded his head in approval. My fiance said the interview was very conversational and easygoing. It was pretty quick, to be honest.
His advice to anyone going for an interview is to be confident, speak properly and just know your stuff. If you know your relationship is genuine you should be fine.

Good luck to all!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
