few general questions asked, be confident and answer honestly, took albums and every document i had but officer didnot ask for anything, some were asked about albums, and other documents. Must reply with very specific answers for questions like why you choose this person and what you liked in your partner. If possible do upload to nvc and carry affidavits from US citizens who attended marriage. Upload as many proofs on nvc document submission as possible.

Hello MSIK..can u pls guide me abt PCC do we need to upload on NVC first or we can take it only when the interview is scheduled..
Also is pCC required from passport office or local police clearance certificate will also do?
Msik on 2021-05-14 said: passport office pcc is must,officially it is valid for 6months, but embassy consider it upto 1year, some people upload it at nvc stage and some take directly to interview, if you will take directly to interview write a letter to nvc explaining this and upload on website.
Also the latest rule is that indian passport offices issues pcc in spouse cases only if you have spouse name on passport so beware of this as one might have to update passport first and then only pcc will be issued.
