Comments : Was approved for visa 10/7, but had to do medical which was on 10/12. Took St. Andrews two weeks to send the medical to the embassy, and then the rest of the time for the embassy to finish processing. Visa was ready for pickup 11/5, and my fiance got it in hand the next day, 11/6.

Thanks so much! We are kind of in the same boat as you. My fiance couldn't get an earlier medical appt so he has to wait until the 12th to do it. That was the only thing on the 221g paper. Otherwise everything is good. We are on our way though! yayyy!

We are in the same boat. We have to redo our medical too so we also got a 221g and our medical appointment is still almost 2 weeks away. The embassy frustrates me so much but we are almost there!!

Yes it's like if it isn't one thing, it's another and I'm sorry to hear that. Two weeks feels like two years nowadays. However, I'm glad we were able to do the biggest part which was the interview, ya know. lol no worries. By the way do you know how it works in sending the passport back to the embassy through their courier service? We read the directions on the sheet, but they're saying that they need some authorization certificate...

Yes you go back to the ais site where you make N appointment and you click on embassy requested more documents. You might have to input in the box whst documents you need to send, then your request will be approved and then you will print off a courier receipt

Sorry typos and I can't edit go back to the same ais site where you made your k1 appointment

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
