*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

and then told about how we met etc. He asked if we had been married before or had any children and he asked if I had ever been out of status. Then he asked the yes/no questions and told us that when we submit the proper birth certificate then he will approve the greencard. He said we should bring it in person sometime in Oct. and my wife doesn't need to show up. Then I said, "Oh" a little disappointedly and he asked, "what's wrong?" I told him I was planning to attend a conference in Canada at the end of September but I guess I will not be able to leave the U.S. since my case is pending. He asked the dates and said he would see what he could do. He wanted us to wait outside 5 minutes then called us back and set an appointment for me to show the birth certificate on the Wed. before I will go to Canada. He gave us a print out stating what to bring and the date and also mentioned I should bring my EAD. Overall, we thought he was extremely helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about our case. Although he didn't ask a lot of details, it was clear he had read through everything. He also did not look at anything we brought with us, but that was fine with us. He also said he would stamp my passport with the greencard so I can go to Canada and said your case is approved. I hope everyone else will be interviewed by helpful and courteous people like him. Good luck everyone!
