Comments : We had our appointment for the 18th of March originally but due to COVID19 it was cancled. We had then got a notification by e-mail on the 28th of July to get our documents ready for the interview and that they would send instructions with how to set up an interview. On the 1st of September the US embassy sent us an email telling us about our interview date for September 3rd. We were approved and recived the visa about a week later. Now we are happily married and are awaiting the AOS. Hopefully everything runs smooth with that.

What was the date that the Honduras Consulate received your case? They received ours yesterday. I am hoping my fiance gets an interview scheduled soon :( The plan was to have him come back to the USA with me when I left after my visit this may

I'm not exactly sure. Where can I find when they received my case?I'm hoping too that this month my fiance can come back with me to the USA. I'll be going down tomorrow. Let me know how to find out the date the embassy received my case please. I hope we both have good luck
Alivia on 2020-03-08 said:
The date they received it is just the date that the ceac read "READY" as the case status.... If you cant remember, when you long into ceac and check your case status, it will say "case created ***" and "case last updated ***"... the day they received your case is the date that is next to the "case last updated" line. Hopefully that helps... let me know if you could find it. I am wishing the best for both of us! If you dont mind me asking, what part of honduras is your fiance from? Mine is from Tela, so he will be attending his medical appointment in San Pedro Sula... I have the information from the CEMESA hospital if you need/want it!

Oh thank you so much for your help. My fiance lives in San Pedro Sula. Last year I went to meet my fiance for the first time and I went to tela. I love tela it's so beautiful there. I'll look and see when they got my case number and let you know
Spander on 2020-03-08 said:
So I just looked it up. Mine says the case was created February 24th
Spander on 2020-03-08 said:
It also says no status. I'm not sure why
Alivia on 2020-03-08 said:
it says "no status" on the ceac website? Thats odd... i have never heard of that before.
Spander on 2020-03-09 said:
Yes. That's what I thought too. I would think it should say something. I guess we will see eventually what happenes
Alivia on 2020-03-09 said:
Yeah, it should say "ready" if the embassy has already received it and it is ready for an interview... I would try to contact them
Alivia on 2020-03-09 said:
Appointments are available now! For march 18th and 25th! GO SCHEDULE BEFORE THEY RUN OUT!!!
Spander on 2020-03-10 said:
Thank you so much. Hahaha...I just saw this message. I sent you one telling you the same thing. Thank you again for being so willing to help and kind. Will you be going with your fiance to his interview? What date did you schedule for?
Spander on 2020-03-10 said:
I schedule mine for the 18th at 945
Alivia on 2020-09-07 said:
Did you guys submit a request for an emergency appointment? The embassy still hasn’t emailed me and I had my appointment scheduled for March.
Alivia on 2020-09-17 said:
Hey!!! Is your fiancée in the US yet?? I was just wondering how long it took from her interview to have her visa on hand and how did they contact you about it? Did CEAC ever read “refused” for you???

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
