Shame that is sad. Did they ever offer you a replacement date?

I was offered expedited interview on May 14, 2020 because I had completed my medical exam and am an essential health care worker with a pending work offer in the US to start ASAP. I was put on AP after my interview though, with the interview stating that only employment-based GCs are being expedited currently, and that family-based GCs are AP only. I was shocked, and am now devastated. It just seems like the bad news is never-ending....

This is so awful :( I'm sorry to hear that, especially since immediate family of US citizens are supposed to not be included in the immigration ban. This makes me extremely upset. :(

Congratulations you guys! I'm glad you finally got through everything. Welcome to the US!

Thank you @IsItLekker! I am so relieved. The journey was challenging, to say the least, but I'm very glad it is over and life can move on. Thank you for your support and concern through this!

How did you get through to get an interview. I see that your an essential worker .. was that the reason? Because my medical expires in August 😢 my interview on March 30 was cancelled and I only get the generic response when I try to contact
