You guys are about a month behind us! Have you heard anything on your ETA for your I-130 being approved? Are you doing consular processing. Wishing you best of luck - L&J

Thank you! I noticed a change in my statues on April 8, and then again today. I refreshed the page a few hours later and it said “case closed” with our approval notice. It happened quicker than I expected ..it seems as though they are getting through a lot of the petitions very quickly recently. I’m sure yours will be coming soon!

So awesome! Were you guys cased at Potomac the whole time? The last time we got an update was Feb 9th. I’m hoping we hear something soon! It does seem like Spousal visas are going at lightning speed. Keep me posted on the rest of your journey! Would love to hear how it goes

So our original notice came from the Texas service center. Then around February 27th or 28th there was a date change on the USCIS website. I spoke to a live agent via Emma on the USCIS website and they said that my case was in Potomac. Apparently there was an internal transfer done that I never received a letter about. I am reading about cases that have also been approved that were only just filed this April so it doesn’t even seem like they are following any particular order at this point. I figured I had at least 2 more months until approval so it was a nice surprise!

I should check to see if there may have been an internal transfer done with ours. Was it quite easy to speak with the live agent? I’m the beneficiary so I cannot access my husband’s my.uscis account, but I will get him to look into this. I’m truly so happy for you! Now just for the Montreal consulate to open up so the interviews can proceed. A nice surprise of early approval would be so lovely during this time! Cheers

Yes it was easy! You have to specifically ask to speak to a live agent because it will be a computer answering your questions at first. I believe all you need is your receipt number and petitioners date of birth. Yes I hope they open soon! Considering they were backed up with interviews before all of the shutdowns

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
