I tried to submit a review but the page was having issues. Arrived at the embassy at 4AM the appointment was at 8:30AM and was not attended to until 12:30PM. I was interviewed by a man who was nice abs only asked 4 questions. How did I meet my spouce? Where did I attend school abroad. Did I have a child with my spouce? Could he see my childs birth certificate and pictures? Other than the wait it was a good experience.

Thanks for the information. Any notification yet from the DHL or change on your visa status yet?
blank avatar BrianitaOlaiya on 2020-02-07 said:
Thanks! Visa status says issued but has not changed to ready.
blank avatar Odiegwu on 2020-02-07 said:
Oh! Does it mean it will first change to Issued, then to Ready before picking up from the DHL, right?
blank avatar BrianitaOlaiya on 2020-02-08 said:

Please what birth certificate did you use? I'm confused. I have attestation of birth letter from NPC and age declaration from high court. Latest news on consulate review that they are asking for birth certificate from NPC

My wife and I have a child together. They asked for her birth certificate because they did not have that document. Our child was just born 2 months ago.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
