Embassy Review : APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On July 10 Roxana and I got the visa. For us, the process was quick and easy. We arrrived at the embassy at 7:40 for the 8:45 appointment. The guard outside asked only to see our appointment paper. We were inside the in under 5 minutes. In about 15 minutes they called us up to ask for some documnets. Called again in a few minutes to ask for one more. We sat and talked with another women trying to get a K-3. At 8:40 we were called to window 9 for an interview.

The man asked Roxana 8 questions.
- How we met? HOw many times I had been to Peru? Had she been married? Any kids? Why she had once visited another country? If she had been to the US? What kind of work she does? and don't remember the other.

The man asked me: Where did I work and my position? He then looked down at the paperwork then looked up smiled and said we were approved. It happened so quick we were shocked. We were approved at 8:45. The time of our appointement.

THe only glitch we had is we left her house and got 5 minutes down the road and realized we had forgotten the x-ray. Quickly turned around got it and were on our way.

Everyone we talked with was very nice and professional. 5 stars for the embassy!

Embassy Review : Well, time had gone over 90 days for advanced parole and work approval. Made an appt. The officer made a call and for some reason my wife had be marked as a tourist that had gotten married instead of being a K-1.

He told the person on the other end of the phone and then told us that we would have our papers in two weeks. Sure enough to the day the papers arrived.

Last Monday we went to the SS office and got approved there also. Yea!!!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
