Did you happen to do the I -129F and send that in also

Yes, we did. But after more than 100 days after USCIS received it, no action was taken on it. The I-129f didn't work at all for us.

Ok thanks because I did it also and doesn’t seem to be working for us either our PD is December 10 2018

You should definitely get your approval soon! If you haven't downloaded the USCIS case tracker app for your phone, you might try to check your status there. That seems to be the most up to date source of case info around.

Once you go for your interview and you get your visa approved how long until do you have to use it to come to the United States before it expires

I'd have to look it up, but I seem to remember that one has six months to use it and come to the US. But with the pandemic, I'm sure there are/will be allowable exceptions.

Have you guys been able to go for your medical yet?

My wife went this morning, actually. She has to wait a week for her results, which they'll mail to her, and then she'll in turn mail them to the embassy. The medical check went fine, although she would have preferred not to get three vaccine shots all at once. :) Since she already had her interview, we're hoping she'll have her visa in hand in another two weeks or so.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
