Consulate Review: Haiti
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : January 7, 2021
Embassy Review : Embassy opened at 8 am sharp. Fiance was done with interview by 9:30 am. He said they asked him about 10 questions and were very nice. Nothing major. They asked how we met, when we met, was I ever married, do I have children, what I do for a living, etc...nothing crazy. They took his passport and told him it will be available in a week.
Rating : Very Good

Hi Why it takes that long to received your case from NVC. I thought it usually 2-3days. You didn’t call them or they actually never got it

It takes at least a couple of weeks. Definitely call.

How is the process from NOA2 to NVC
blank avatar Dgeffrard on 2019-12-12 said:
It took about a month for me to get my case number. I would start calling NVC after about 2 weeks. Once you have the case number you can check status on crack site.

Haiti is really slow. Your case had nothing to do with COVID-19. I hope it gets better by the time I put in my application. Congratulations to you

Haiti is slow, but COVID didn’t help either! He’s here now so I won’t complain. Thanks and I hope your process goes smoothly!

Hello! How are you doing? I have a quick question, what did the package 4 contain? And did you schedule your interview or the embassy did? Thank you so much
blank avatar Dgeffrard on 2021-01-29 said:
The package was just an email that specified what documents we needed to submit in order to get an interview. I would suggest you email to get packet 3. I dis email them sever times. They will call you and schedule the interview.
blank avatar Morgan17 on 2021-03-05 said:
Hi and congrats! Did you have to get your medical done before you sent everything through DHL for packet 3?
blank avatar Dgeffrard on 2021-03-06 said:
Yes, the medical had to be done before. It has to be included with the docs you send through DHL.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
