Just to clarify on here, you can actually book your interview and start searching for dates once the embassy has received the paperwork. unless you want to wait till you hear from them. all you will need( i think) is the case number on the paper work the NVC sent over to you but you dont have to wait for the embassy before you book your interview date. you can go to GT bank, pay the the visa fee and fill out the DS-160 and then start searching for the dates honestly.
