After case approval, do we need to get Police Clearance Certificate?? Because PCC is needed at NVC stage right??

Yea, PCC - at NVC stage.

After the case is approved, it takes 4- 5 weeks to reach the NVC. So, in order to prevent further delay in submitting documents, I scheduled apt for PCC during the 5th week and got in hand. By the 6th week, when I received an email from NVC saying time to upload documents, I was ready! PCC is valid for one year.

So we need to get PCC from Passport office only right?? Not from District Police??

yes, passport office

when was ur passport issued?

It was issued on April 2019. I mean I added my husband name in my passport and make a change. I already had my passport since 2 years but on April 2019 I renew it for adding husband name to it.

So what you think?? Whether to get PCC from passport office or both Passport office and district office both??

I just saw on my passport. The date of issue is 1st March 2019. And we filed i130 on Feb 25 2019.

I think passport office will be fine.

Coz they have the records to justify!

Okay thank you

One more thing to ask... What is the right time to apply for PCC??

And how long it takes to get PCC after applying??

As I said after u receive ur NVC letter within 4-5 weeks.

You will get PCC in 1 day depending on what state u live.

Hi... My question is i had received email my documents was quliefied on 16th September 2019 when i will receive my interview letter.?

You will probably get an interview letter between Dec 16 to Jan 1. It takes 90 days from the DQ.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help!

Thank u for giving my ans...

Hi Congratulations on approval. Need your help ... please help us with queries I am from pune and got the nvc case number
1. PCC - what did you select as purpose of police verification in the online form? ( immigration purposes other than citizenship)
2. Is letter from petitioner that he will sponsor required for PCC? Or I134F required for Pcc ?

I am from India too... Select Immigration purposes other than citizen ship.... Letter from petitioner not required....

Hi, writing to you as i need help
There are couple of queries for DS160 form and submission
I have a B1/B2 visa and had applied for the same in April 2019 from my company, so the old account exists and i may have to continue with the same. After i login i can update my profile so i will update my personal email - earlier it was company email id. I’m assuming that the old email address is just a username at this point and doesn’t have any relevance. Correct?
But i see the DS160 form as the older one, Now if i fill the new form will it automatically take the new form number or i may have to enter the same manually ? will it be okay ?
We just don’t want to submit the application and have the old number mess anything up. Please advise on this. If this is confusing.
And what did you select for PERSON /ENTITY paying for your trip ?
Should I mention my current organisation details , as i am on notice period in my firm and will be not working at the time of interview?

What did you select relationship to US point of contact in DS 160 form ?
US petitioner ?correct?

I am CR 1 and I filled DS 260 form, so I have no idea how to answer your question, sorry.

Even with the old username and password, you can update the new profile with an email address, etc. It won't matter. However, you should choose a new application form (DS 160). It will automatically provide you a new number.
Person/entity - hmmm... not sure actually.

As YAS Arr said regarding PCC - Select Immigration purposes other than citizenship.... Letter from petitioner is not required....
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
