After our move from Colorado to NY and change of field office we faced the problem that NY doesn’t accept the official marriage certificate of CO as prove for the legal name change upon marriage. This resulted in an RFE at the GC Interview and further 3.5 months delay with issuing the GC.
EAD or AP has never been issued. An SSN has also not been applied for by the USCIS (they told this to us upon the GC Interview). |

My entry to the U.S. went surprisingly easily despite the currently still valid travel ban. The immigration officer only wanted to have the brown envelope from me which the consulate has sent me and asked otherwise no questions. It took me 5 minutes to be admitted. 😳🥳 |

Timeline Comments: 5We are planning to get an interview date sometimes in November due to the current crazy corona situation, consulate closures, a deployment plus year end Christmas holiday. Hopefully our time plan will work. 😣🤞
Congratulations... Are you guys plaintiff's?
Thanks! 🤗 No we aren’t plaintiffs.
Thanks! 🤗 No we aren’t plaintiffs.
I guess they have cleared the back log... Frankfurt is a working machine!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
