you submit the Ds160 and then booked appointment after paying fees? Before any communication from
Mumbai Consulate ??
SJTimeline on 2019-12-23 said:@Ashu25 After NOA2 we got email from NVC with Case ID. You need the Case ID # to check status of case online and see where it is at. If your status says Ready at Mumbai consulate, follow up with them for an interview letter if you have not received in email already. At that point you can complete the DS-160, schedule interview online and pay visa fee. We contacted through email and got responses in 2 business days for both NVC and Consulate. Yes police clearance certificate is done. Medical has to be booked directly with the approved panel physicians office. Ideally book that atleast 7 days before interview.

They said we will get a text message when the passport is ready for pickup. Normally this takes a week.
