Comments : Bc of coronavirus, appointments were canceled from MID-MARCH 2020.

Got an interview date on JUNE 1ST (1st available date) and went for medical appointment about a week before. [Ankara is normally 7/8 hours away by bus but bc of all the covid19 checks and lockdown with travel restrictions in the country it took over 12 hours to get there].

While at medical appointment, got a text saying that interview date had been moved to JULY 6TH. Took bus back home after the medical appointment.

June 8th, got an email saying our JULY 6TH interview date was canceled. No new dates available on website.

Got a new date for AUGUST 6TH, which was also canceled but without even sending us an email / text that it was canceled. It's now August 9th, still no consulate interview or news when they will open.

December 30th, just got an interview date (4th one) of 21-Jan-2021. They told him at the interview he passed but when I look it up it says "administrative processing". 22-January-2021 the status changed to "issued". Received in the mail by the 25th of January 2021.

Did they email you a new interview date or did you schedule yourself?
Luu on 2021-01-21 said:
@MiF - for the last interview date they emailed a date to my fiancé. The first one he scheduled. They canceled that and sent the second date (rescheduled/delayed) which they also canceled. The third one he scheduled. The fourth one they sent him by email.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
