Comments : I arrived at the embassy at 5:30am. Interview was scheduled for 10:30am.

Interview took place at 8:15am. I was asked the following questions:

1) who filed for you?
2) Where and when did you meet your spouse?
3) Have you traveled outside of the country in the past 6 years?
4) Have you been married before?
5) Has your spouse been married before?
6) Do you have any kids?
7) Does your spouse have kids? How many?
8) What do you and your wife do for a living?
9) Do you have your wife’s recent tax return?
10) Can I see any chat, text logs, flight tickets, and emails?
11) May I see pictures of your relationship and wedding
12) How many times has she visited?

She then started organizing her papers, handed me back my originals, and told me she was going to approve me, and that I would be contacted to pick up my passport within 2 weeks.

Make sure you’re honest about everything, and have all of your documents ready with the copies.

Congratulations guys.. I have a question. Please my spouse just got an interview date in lagos, he tried registering for the DHL courier services but it kept given an error message. So is he supposed to register for the courier service after his Medical examination or interview? please I need clarification. Thanks

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
