Have you guys heard anything? NOA2?

Nothing brother. I check it like a mad man. Are you signed up on the Myuscis?
blank avatar Ukrainian Queen on 2020-02-22 said:
You?
Ken & Yana on 2020-02-22 said:
Yeah I’m signed up. We got an RFE on February 5th. They received my RFE reply on 18th. Now just waiting for approval. I was surprised though to see that your NOA1 was a few days sooner but you hadn’t heard anything yet. It should be any day now!

I don’t know if I should be happy to have not received an RFE since it’s some communication or not to have received it and not have had any info from them. This is a terrible process waiting. I hope that because I didn’t get an RFE that it’s good news but who knows.
Ken & Yana on 2020-02-22 said:
Yeah our RFE was just because the printer did not print a check in the checkbox on one of the questions, even though it's visible in the PDF. We didn't catch it when reviewing the form before sending I guess.

Called USCIS and they said I’m still under normal processing times and that my application looks good so far to include the federal background check. I had a very high clearance before and she said nothing looks like it’s out of the ordinary and or flags. So not sure when it will get approved

We just got our approval on February 25. It really should be any day now for you!

That’s awesome congratulations

we just got ours. what happened next? do you need to do anything for NVC?
Ken & Yana on 2020-03-17 said:
Congrats! Wait about 2 weeks (hopefully only 2 with the current situation) and then call the NVC and ask for your new NVC case number. +1 (603) 334-0700 One will be automatically generated once the NVC receives the packet. Then it's another waiting game of when the NVC ships the packet onto the US Embassy. Check the NVC case status here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx Officially, there's not much for you to do during this time except prepare documentation that the beneficiary will bring to the interview. Start with police clearance and paying the visa application fee. Then, in order to schedule the interview (once the NVC status shows "Ready"), you need to complete the DS-160 online application. All information can be found here: https://ua.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/151/K_Instructions_Eng.pdf And here: https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/index.html?firstTime=No Congrats again! Let's hope the embassy reopens soon.

I wasn’t aware that it was closed. Thank you

NVC and USCIS are still open for the time being, which hopefully should allow things to progress for you.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
