I am glad to finally say I have used a lot of peoples experience on this forum to calm myself during the waiting period. So finally, I signed up tonight so I can share my testimony and thank all the good people on this forum who have been there to share peoples problems and encourage them never to loose hope
My story goes like this.... I got married to my America citizen husband on 3rd April 2015. we were so much in love and of course we couldn't wait to start living together. we got married a day after his birthday and everything was fine. after about 4 months, I realized he's been hiding a lot from me, he drinks to stupor and smokes without considering my kids from my previous marriage. We had big plans to make it together and be very successful, but all wasn't accomplished when he started abusing me. it started with when I got my first job after he petitioned the i130 for me, I was approved EAD and started working in the healthcare field. I was making reasonable money than he was making but still, I didn't bother. my goal was to put both income together and plan something better for our lives. one day I realized that our joint bank account was empty and I asked him how that happened, he told me he loaned a friend and will get it back. I was in shocked knowing that this is the money I have worked for and trusting my husband enough to have my salary go directly into our joint account. Anyway long story short, we separated and went our separate ways. I withdrew my I485 petition and got an attorney. My attorney filed VAWA in October 2017 but with a new I485 filed concurrently.
Received Prima Facie in November 2017
Got biometric appointment in November 2017
Got EAD and Travel document approved in march 2018
Second prima Facie in May 2018
renewed EAD in Dec 20189 (90 Days to expiration)
Got 2nd EAD and Travel document in February(approved before 90 days)
I485 changed to " we cant provide you with any information at this time, contact USCIS" (December 2018)
I360 "NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED" AND WILL BE MAILED( JULY 13 2019)
I was so excited, called my attorney and he said I should be expecting "Green Card" in the mail. I didn't get any approval message update. whatever it is I just know that it Is going to be good news.
All the while I was waiting, I have never stopped working for one day, I am also a current Nursing Student. I just want to Give God all the Glory and adoration that all the tribulations, THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. I am not worried if interview is coming sooner or later, I am just so glad that there is a positive result
I am not doubting God, I think my lawyer isn't getting something right cause I kept wondering if interview was waived and if yes, how come they are not requesting for the I693 Medical Exam. CAN GREEN CARD BE APPROVED WITHOUT THE MEDICAL?
