Consulate Review: Cameroon
Review Topic: F-2A Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 28, 2021
Embassy Review : We thank God for all his grace and favour .
It has not been easy between me and my husband..
We started dating just two months before I left the country. We were in two separate cities so we didn't really have before pictures..Honesty is key guys...
Pd is July 18th 2019
Case approved October 21 2020
Nvc received October 25 2020
Case completed and DQ December 5 200.
It's been a long wait.
I went back home in March of 2019 and got married but due to covid and my passport being expired I have not been able to make it back home..
It has not been easy.. I spent 1 month with my husband last time I was home which is 2019.
On Sept. 24 we got the best and scary news ever.. after waiting for 8to9 months we finally got IL.
I was so happy because it meant we were almost at the end of our journey. But scares too because we didn't have enough solid proof as we have seen with others so we have not been able to sleep properly...
Fast forward to Interview dat...
Hubby made it at the Embassy by 6 am
Appointment was for 7:30..
He told me he was the first to be interviewed that day...
Called to take all civil documents (Originals) And proof of relationship
10 minutes later called in for interviewed
Questions:
Who is calling for you?
Where does she stay?
Who does she stay with
How and when did yiu meet?
Describe your relationship from then till now?
Where did you say you met again?
Why did you choose to talk to her not her freinds?
Did you date immediately?
No... y not right away 😁 Hubby said I was too stubborn and gave him hard time.
How long b4 engagement?
How did he proposed since I was out of the country?
Saw our pictures..so all this pictures was when your wife was in the county just for a month? Yes mam!! Wow lots of pictures
Asked him what he is doing at the moment?
Have you ever applied for any visa? NO.. Y NOT??
Do you = spouse have kids..?
What do you plan on doing on getting to US?
Asked him about vaccine...if he knew it was mandatory?
Thank God I was able to convince Hubby to get vaccinated 2 weeks b4?
Asked for proof of vaccination ?
Approved my husband of visa.. Asked to come back in 2 days for passport pick up....
It can only be God....
I can't wait to see and hug my husband it's been more than 2 years now...thank you to Vj.. I have been closely reading and following everything on here...
Did all the paperwork myself with no outside help/attorney... thank God. Praise God
Rating : Very Good

Hello, congratulations to you and your husband, please i need some information from you. What documents did your husband take to the embassy? i’m unable to get my tax transcripts so i just have my tax returns and recent paystub so i don’t know if that will be okay. Please just list the documents you used. Thanks for understanding. God bless you.

Hi Ivites... I made sure he went with all copies of w-2's of 2017,2018,2019and most recent 2020 _All originals of Civil documents uploaded with recent court records Copies of affidavit of support uploaded. Employment letter. Went with all transcripts with most recent. I didn't send any paystubs. So they asked for any of this as he told me.. not even the most recent tax year which is 2020 since I didn't have when I uploaded others to Nvc. My advice is have all this available just in case..they might request it.. good to have it handy.. as I know tax transcripts are always preferred to returns.but any is good.. They were not requested but he had them.. They asked to see his vaccination record as well

Hello Rhyn, Thanks a lot for your response, so it means in your case they didn’t even request to see your tax transcripts? woow that’s nice. I have been unable to get my 2020 tax transcripts since the person who filed my taxes made a mistake with my address so it’s hard getting someone on phone to talk with in the IRS. But i have my my 2019 transcripts which i submitted to NVC, will let him go with those, my tax returns of 2020, and W- 2 , my most recent paystubs. I pray they don’t ask for the 2020 transcripts but i will keep trying to see if i can get them before his interview date. We weren’t even expecting it that soon and we have just two weeks. Thanks a lot will keep you posted.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
