Hi was your interview still done on May 12 or did they reschedule? Also after you petition arrived at the embassy did you receive further instructions?

@Tasha & Marvin: Do you have any updates on your journey thus far. Was your interview postponed or cancelled? If yes, did they give you any further information? Ours was scheduled for April and then Sept and now cancelled until further notice. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
His original interview was 5/12 rescheduled to 8/13 and as of now cancelled. We haven’t got any updates as to when interviews will be rescheduled. I’m hoping the embassy will open next month. Sorry I don’t have much information for you. We’re at the mercy of the embassy unfortunately we’ll just have to be patient and wait

I’m sorry to hear that. I have faith the embassy will open soon.

Hello, have you gotten any update on interview rescheduling?
Closinthedistance on 2020-09-21 said:
Hello,
I haven’t received any update as of yet, but I’m sure the embassy will be opening soon. They are issuing visas for people that got approved before the pandemic and reissuing visas that expired due to covid.

Oh that’s great news. Thank you for the update.

Hi there! Congratulations on getting your visa interview scheduled finally! I was wondering if you previously had an interview but it was cancelled due to Covid or if this is your first attempt at an interview. I'm trying to ascertain if Ghana embassy has begun scheduling interviews since my fiance and I have been waiting to schedule his visa interview since first week of March 2020. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :-)

Still waiting dear. I believe they are working on the interviews that were canceled last year. Hopefully that want take too long. I’m hopeful we will be hearing from the embassy soon.

Yes my fiancé had 2 cancelled interviews. Ghana started rescheduling interviews for those who weren’t able to to go for their interviews due to covid. They’re slowing resuming.

Hello, at the interview did they ask for the I-134 or I-864 affidavit of support form?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
