Jul-29-2004: Interview SUCCESS - VISA NOT IN HAND (technical problem)
Jul-29-2004: Begged an Alitalia agent to change our flight - he was very nice. He got us onto a flight for Jul 31 (barely).
Jul-30-2004: 9:25 am, missed original flight to JFK
Jul-30-2004: 9:40 am, got the visa!
Jul-31-2004: Show up at airport, the guy we saw on thursday was there and we talked for a bit. Then he walked us to security and told us he would try to get us upgraded to first class for the Rome->NYC trip as a wedding gift, but couldn't promise anything
Jul-31-2004: Arrive at JFK via first class (oh so comfortable), got temporary work authorization
Aug-01-2004: Realize there is a lot of cleaning to do before Helene's parents arrive, and a lot of paperwork to get done for AOS
Aug-02-2004: 6:00 AM, wake up and clean
Aug-02-2004: 8:00 AM, went and applied for marriage license
Aug-02-2004: 9:00 AM, picked up marriage license and talked to a translator about Helene's birth certificate
Aug-02-2004: 10:20 AM, we're married!!
Aug-02-2004: 10:45 AM, got certified copy of marriage certificate
Aug-02-2004: 11:30 AM, applied for SSN
Aug-03-2004: 10:30 AM, got her new driver's license
Aug-03-2004: Right now, still cleaning the house in preparation for Helene's parents and the big wedding ceremony/party on the 7th
Wedding ceremony date - Aug 07, 2004!
Moved to VA in June 2005
Shifted paperwork to Fairfax office
Got AOS interview Oct 3, 2005
