Hi, congratulations! Did you have an IOE number and also do a K3? Did you expedite? Thanks

Hi guys! Congrats on receiving your I-130 Approval! Other people with the same PD seemed to move a little faster than yours did. Were you ever sent an RFE?

Thanks - don't think it was slowed down by very much (~few days), correct? Not sure

Hey there! I'm a USC and my husband is Spanish citizen. We have a very similar timeline. I'm wondering if you submitted the DS-5540 on the CEAC website?

Hi - glad to see another petitioner to Spanish beneficiary. My wife is a Spanish citizen. I didn't upload it to the CEAC website. I'm fairly certain it's something we'd need to bring to the interview though. I'm leaning towards not messing around w submitting things and risk my place being shifted around in line. After reading through a couple resources: https://www.nafsa.org/regulatory-information/final-rules-public-charge-determinations it looks like this is for applications postmarked Feb 24 and beyond regarding USCIS and NVC. Have you heard of anyone getting an RFE for 5540 prior to Feb 24?
blank avatar KayBereijo on 2020-03-15 said:
No I haven't, and I called NVC to confirm and she said not to worry and just have it ready for the interview. But now with the lockdown in Spain who knows when that will be. Luckily I am living here in Spain with my husband and our son, but things seem to be getting pretty bad.

Your i130 NOA1 is 2019-06-17. They stated that the new public charge rule on effects applications on a date in February 2020 and beyond. So why are you submitting ds-5540? Thanks
blank avatar AdventureOutThere on 2020-03-15 said:
I'm kind of shocked that the NVC would even suggest that you bring it when it is not supposed to be in effect for your application. That should not be.

Congrats on getting DQ, so exciting!!! Any word on what's next? I know the embassy is pretty much shut down, but am curious if you got any information regarding the interview?
blank avatar Jboltz03113 on 2020-04-18 said:
Did not hear anything about the interview so I called the NVC. They basically said the embassy has everything on hold in regards to interviews, so there's a backlog filling up. Fortunately I don't think there's a lot of interviews for GC holders to begin with so hopefully we don't have to wait too long. Hoping we have a bit of luck they consider opening soon.
IsItLekker on 2020-06-23 said:
Yay! Congratulations on getting your interview date! Did you apply for an expedite? Have you been able to schedule a medical yet?
blank avatar KayBereijo on 2020-06-29 said:
Congrats on your interview! Ours is on the 9th. Can you let me know how yours goes?
IsItLekker on 2020-07-07 said:
Good luck at your interview today!

Congratulations on your approval! I saw your visa arrived, yay! Did you do the priority shipping? Our status says Issued (visa printed) since July 10. Curious if it is on it's way or is still at the embassy. Did you get a new status station the visa was in transit?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
