Our I-130 Spousal VISA Application was approved in 128 Days. We were very thorough about gathering all evidence and proof reading the application several times over before we submitted our Application Package. Our attention to detail paid off.

*We we’re asked to resubmit some documents because I had unwittingly used an expired form for the AOS, and they also requested a copy of my divorce papers. I find it hard to believe that when the USCIS passes the case on to the NVC that it is too difficult for them to include “ALL” digital evidence. **I came back to the U.S. on September 2, 2020 intending to go back in a couple of months. They have been making it so hard to travel back to the Philippines, that my wife asked me to hold off submitting the last papers because she is afraid they will schedule her interview and I won’t be able to get back in time to go with her. I am maintaining contact with the NVC so our case stays active as we stand-by hoping conditions changed to make traveling to the Philippines easier.

I’d like to find an advocate who can help my Wife coordinate her physical, preparing for her interview, and traveling to Manila for her interview.

• On 2020-09-01 NVC notified us that I had submitted and expired I-864 Form (AOS). • My wife had asked me not to submit a new one yet because she was afraid I couldn’t get back there to the Philippines in time to accompany her to the embassy in Manila and she did not want to go by herself. • I kept the case alive by periodically logging into the account and/or making a phone call to the NVC. • Due to the delays called caused by Covid, and being away from my wife for 22 months I began to have anxiety and so I hired an immigration firm to help walk us through this last stage. • After sending them updated documents they were able to finally resubmit everything to the NVC today, on 2022-06-19. Now to wait for the interview letter. I will be arriving in Cebu City on Sunday June 26th and I plan on staying until this is done hopefully.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
