Hello. Do you mind sharing what your RFE was for? Thanks.

I just received the email about the RFE but as soon as I get the hard copy by mail, I will let you know what they are asking for. The email doesn’t say!

They want my original birth certificate- not a photocopy and proof of bona fife marriage so like pictures and stuff.

Oh no. I didn’t send my original birth certificate, only sent a photocopy. I did send pics and other things to help with front loading my case. I’m getting a little nervous so I hope I hear something soon. Thank you for your response and best of luck with your case 😊

I hope your husband got his police report already?
blank avatar Leah McKenzie on 2019-10-05 said:
No I’m waiting until the nvc receives our case. I have a lot of family in the police force in Kingston so I know I won’t have any problem getting it

Okay great because they closed the division to relocate it . We requested a report in early September not knowing that they would close. The estimated time frame that they gave us yesterday when we went to go pick up the report was sometime in December. I’m so frustrated with JA.

Oh wow that is so frustrating. But you are almost there and it will all be worth it in the end!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
