Do you know how much longer it will be after the rfe?
blank avatar Falan on 2019-06-25 said:
From what I read it can take 2 weeks to receive a response after the information is received at the processing center.
ChantelleFR on 2019-06-25 said:
Okay, well good luck I am roughly a month behind you and waiting anxiously

Good luck to you as well! Hopefully you won’t have a RFE!

I got my approval! Yayyy. Now to wait for the interview date

Congratulations!!!! I’m calling the NVC tomorrow to see if they received our case so we can schedule the interview and medical.

Ok well keep me posted! I thought they schedule your interview. So far I estimate 3 weeks to get to nvc another 2 weeks to process and then interview date roughly 1 month after. I'm so anxious. My expected due date is early december so I'm praying we get through sooner than later.

I will definitely keep everything updated. I’m still so anxious to be done with this part. I’m praying everything works out for you!

Yayyyy! Progress :-)

Hi Falan, did you wait for the letter to schedule your interview? Can you share additional details with regard to the process after NVC. Did you have to send in any information? Thanks much!
ChantelleFR on 2019-08-26 said:
Sorry one more question, did u chose the first available date or were there multiple dates available?
blank avatar Falan on 2019-08-26 said:
Hi! I went ahead and completed the DS-160 when I got our case from the NVC. Once the case showed ready at the JA embassy I made an account to pay our visa fees and schedule the interview. I have not sent any information to the NVC. We only received an email from the NVC when our case was sent to JA. It took a day for it to show on CEAC website as ready. If you have received your NOA2 I would wait like 3 weeks and try calling the NVC to see if you have a case number. The NVC send out cases to embassies every other Tuesday. The next shipment is 09/06/2019. I didn’t wait for a letter.
ChantelleFR on 2019-08-26 said:
Okay got it. Thanks so much for the advice. Best if luck to you!

How did it go?
blank avatar Falan on 2019-09-17 said:
Everything went well. We were approved and now we are waiting on his visa. Have you heard anything?
ChantelleFR on 2019-09-17 said:
That's great! Congrats. Im waiting for the "ready" status to schedule the interview.
ChantelleFR on 2019-09-18 said:
Hi there. The site for scheduling is saying no available appointments. To check back on a few days. Is this possible?
blank avatar Falan on 2019-09-18 said:
Yes keep checking. I checked everyday. I tried on a Monday morning and saw the all of the September dates. The only days that weren’t available were Wednesdays.
ChantelleFR on 2019-09-20 said:
I got a date! Will the embassy allow me.to accompany my fiance to the interview?
blank avatar Falan on 2019-09-20 said:
I’m not sure but I have heard the people have accompanied their fiancé to their interviews. I wasn’t there for my fiancé’s interview. If you do go make sure you leave everything except your ppwk. Congratulations and good luck.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
