Case was expedited so it basically went from uscis straight to the embassy skipping the nvc stage.

That’s great! Do you mind sharing what reason you had for expediting? Also did you send email? How long until you got a response?

Yeah! I would also like to know the reason why and it was expedited?

Thanks!
Reason for expedite was very short, very simple.
That we wanted to be together for my wife's birthday on march 29th. It was expedited without conditions.
very rare instance. I sent 3 emails requesting the expedite. First reply email was that they would approve the expedite and it would be sent to the embassy. Second reply was the expedite was approved and our case was in Manila.
I sent the expedite requests while the case was still at uscis, then all of a sudden it was in Manila already and the case was case ready. Only thing uploaded to ceac was the ds260 and it wouldn't let me upload anything else or pay any fees.. kinda weird, kinda crazy

I'm still slightly confused about the situation

What email address did you use in sending your request to expedite?

I did send mine in my account on myuscis yet it is just a computer generated response. Nothing that answer my specific request.

NVCExpedite@state.gov

Is that the same emailI need to send my letter to expedite my wife’s Form I-130 NOA2 approval?
Thank you.

Yes it sure is.
You are very welcome

Is NVCExpedite@state.gov taking forever before they will reply? In your case, how long have you waited before they answered your email? Thanks.

Took about a month from me sending the letter to getting an approval of expedite email
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
