Hello, did you have your interview?
blank avatar Lala Toussaint on 2020-05-06 said:
No i haven't. Hopefully before the year over.
Greguy123 on 2020-05-06 said:
I have been scheduled for interview in DR but it has been cancelled due to Covid-19.
blank avatar Lala Toussaint on 2020-05-06 said:
Okay. By the way do you live in DR or you requested to have your interview there??
Greguy123 on 2020-05-06 said:
Yes, I do . Yes, I requested to have my interview here (DR).
Greguy123 on 2020-05-06 said:
Previously, the interview location was for Haiti. Suddenly, I realized there would be too much back and forth, plus the abrupt riots Haiti's facing from time and time and decided to take my interview in DR. This was a lot of process. The NVC requested a lot evidences and proof of domicile.
blank avatar Lala Toussaint on 2020-05-06 said:
Okay I understand, i wont be able to request that for my husband but Haiti man is on another level on destruction. Really wish I can have the interview move to DR.

if I would have know this process would've been this long and drawn out..I would've did a k1 Visa 🤦🏿‍♀️ im tired of flying back and forth to Haiti! I love my husband but it's stressful..we're basically looking at a possible 12 more months
blank avatar Lala Toussaint on 2020-05-06 said:
Yes the process is ridiculous long and i would have done the same thing like you said but now, all I can do is pray and wait. Jan 1st 2018 was last time i saw my husband.
Greguy123 on 2020-05-06 said:
I wish you could change your interview location. It will be faster. Haiti's a mess. Sorry for the typo earlier (I meant from time to time).
Greguy123 on 2020-05-06 said:
Patience pays off guys. Let's wait.

Any Good news???
blank avatar PeaceandBlessings on 2020-09-12 said:
Congratulations. How can you move the interview to DR? My husband is currently residing there but isn't a resident of the DR. Haiti has always been a hot mess and there is no telling when they will function especially during these times.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
