Comments : *RFE-USCIS requested more proof that we met the two year meeting requirement. They requested a copy of passport stamps, or boarding passes or hotel receipts and/or statements from individuals familiar with our travel. I sent in photos of passport entry and exit stamps

*Called NVC non-immigrant processing center at 603 334 0888 the representative informed me they received the package from USCIS and case number was assigned. She said it was going through normal administrative processing and will be going out to Embassy; although she couldn't give anticipated dates she said the process is 'not long'. The rep confirmed my email address and told me an email would be sent when my package was mailed and the email will provide further instructions.
*10/08/19 Fiance said interview went well, although passport was given back along with a sheet of paper to provide additional documents -CO requested daughter's birth certificate and police certificate of the time fiance lived in Dubai
*10/16/19 requested documents dropped at DHL; still in AP
*10/26/19 sent email to LagosIV@state.gov to inquire if documents were received-no response, but case date updated on 10/29/2019 (after my email was received) but no actual response to my inquiry..still in AP
*12/3/2019 still in AP - sent email to LagosIV@state.gov to inquire about status and no response/update
*12/10/2019 Embassy requested passport
*12/13/2019 CEAC website updated to "Non-Immigrant Application Received" status

Hi Cyndy&Onyi-yes, my fiancé was living in Dubai up until May of this year

Hi Tish_Ghana- the interview was only about 20min but the wait was long. My fiancé arrived at 7am and he wasn't done until about noon.
Cyndy&Onyi on 2019-11-14 said:
Any updates, has the embassy gotten back to you?
blank avatar Super Heros on 2019-11-14 said:
Unfortunately, no updates-my case hasn’t been touched since I sent an email requesting confirmation the additional documents were received

Please how did you get your fiancé police report and how long did she stay in Dubai
blank avatar Super Heros on 2019-12-20 said:
My fiancé lived in Dubai for 4 years. With an Emirates ID he/she can obtain a Police Clearance from Dubai/UAE online at https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/wps/portal/home/services/individualservicescontent/goodconductcertificatecatalog - upload 1 picture with white background (passport photo) - Active Email Address -cost is 300 Dirhams ($88) My fiance received his UAE police clearance certificate via email in about 24 hours. It clearly states on the certificate how to validate the authenticity and it was accepted with no issues.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
