I want t thank anybody and everybody for your help. I am still baffled by the process, I have not received anything from the consulate on the status. the consulate said, pick up your mail in 5 days, didnt say approved, denied, administration hold, nothing, just kept the passport and paperwork and said we cant give you your visa right now, I checked every avenue. contacted my lawyer, he said they dont understand either, why would they leave me hanging like that? I checked USCIS website and it still remains the same. I checked all status and nothing. why? I am a good person, no record and my fiancee is great, we have the income, we have the home. i haven't committed any crimes or owe any debts. I can not find in anyone's interview, that this has occurred, at least they had some answer to go on.

Dear applicant, Thank you for contacting the Immigrant Visa Unit. The Embassy is not in charge of the delivery process, therefore we cannot provide a waybill number. The delivery process takes about 2 weeks and you will get your waybill number on your personal website at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/es-co/iv/ approximately 5 working days after shipment.

Mike, the website takes time to update.. Alleys did you check off our bore your mailing address? If they kept your passport, it sounds like approval. It took us about 10 days to have package sent to Barranquilla..

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
