Consulate Review: Serbia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 4, 2019
Embassy Review : All went really smoothly and quick, just as the whole K1 process..Even tho i spend little more than 2h in the embassy, the actual interview was really easy and quick. Lot of fast questions, but the officer was super nice and friendly. Easy to talk to. Waiting process is long but my interview took like 3-5 minutes.
First you go to Serbian officer ,give him original papers you brought, and sit back and wait... After it you go to lady officer who takes your fingerprints...again waiting...later on,you go to pay the fee... which was 28000dinara or 265dollars... and last is talking to officer in English who ask you next questions...
Like,How old is my fiance, who asked who to come and visit, what she do in America, how we met, which car does she drives if i know, with whom does she lives, what my family think of her, what am i planning to do in America, how long do we talk on the phone....nothing too complicated. He said he reviewed our applications, everything looks nice and real to him,he didnt ask for any further pictures or evidence...Right there told me I was approved and to sit back and wait for Serbian officer to call me to let me know when i can expect my visa to be issued. And that was it ..
I got my visa issued the next day..
Very pleasant experience, everyone in the embassy is super nice and polite..
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
