Comments : Original interview date was September 17 2020 but due to abnormal chest xray I had to undergo sputum and culture test. Waited 4 months from medical to get another interview schedule.

I had a pleasant experience during my interview at the USEM. I had all the documents they needed and asked a few questions like when and where my husband and I met, how many times has he visited me in the Philippines. What was his work and how is he related to our co-sponsor. I can no longer remember all the questions asked.

We, together with my US citizen son entered the US on January 25 2021 just a day before they required the negative covid test. Everything went smoothly (aside from the fact that I was travelling with a 4 year old boy who didn't want to walk along with 3 luggage) We were met by the CDC officials because my son was having a fever the whole trip that magically disappeared when we landed. They asked a few questions and check his temperature and we were eventually "released"

The immigration officer was a little intimidating as he looked very strict like he should be but when it was our turn he just asked a few questions.

Congratulations. Did you notice any date changes on the USCIS website before your approval?

Thank you. There was no date change nor transfer notice. We thought nobody was even looking at our case and to our surprise we got the approval this morning.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
