Comments : Dec 6, 2019- is when it was when it was originally looked it. We needed to provide long form birth certificate & provide all pgs on I-864EZ even if they were blank. We left out the last 2 pgs because we didn't use a translator or a lawyer. We provided my small wallet sized birth certificate. I should've read the requirements for birth certificate. I thought the card would have been fine because I have used it for my Canadian passport, and they accept it. However, for immigration visas they need your long form birth certificate. We uploaded the other 2 pgs of the I-864EZ on Dec 6th and the birth certificate on Dec 13th.

During this time I also applied for an updated Cdn passport with my married name on it because NVC changed my last name to the last name (maiden name) that was on my passport. I added that to my application on Jan 20, 2020. I knew it would be cheaper to get a new passport than having to change it in the USA.

***I informed the consulate I will not be attending the interview on Dec 11, 2020. This is because I am currently 7 months pregnant, and I do not want to do the chest x-ray while pregnant. I also do not want to sit in a car for 8 hours to get to Montreal when I am 8 months pregnant. I will update once I get my new interview date. I just need to call after my interview date has passed to pick a date. ***

Have you filed even K3 visa? I mean i129f form?

No, as the i-129f is for a fiance. I am currently married. We got married 6/2017 and live together in Canada currently.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
