Comments : Husband IR1 interview went well. They asked him who petitioned him, where was I born, my job, and does he or I have children, as well as our ages. I am several years older. We married on the first visit and I visited twice for lengthy periods of time after that. I am sure that helped our case.
The CO placed our case on Administrative Process until my husband brings them a form of identification that is at least 10 years old. All other documents were accepted. They didn't even ask for pictures and chats or anything. However, I did front load everything and it helped. His interview was about 10 minutes. he will mail in his identification card tomorrow at the drop off center stated on the paper they gave him.
I hope we don't stay in AP for too long. Wishing you all the best

Congratulations you guys! How did you find out it was received by the NVC? Did they send you a notification via email or something else? Or did you guys end up having to call and ask them if they received it?

I called NVC and asked. They were very kind answering my question. They received our documents on December 23rd. So 3 weeks after my I 130 approval

Thank you DeenieBae. We are confident all will go well. Just hoping it's not an extended period of time before they process everything. For anyone that is doing their interview at US Embassy in Lagos, I would advise them to have additional documents from 10 to 15 years ago to present as evidence with everything they are asking for.

Did they collect your international passport or you have to submit it with documents
blank avatar BushManWife on 2020-12-17 said:
Fidel, They did not collect my husband's passport. Just wanted him to send in identification from 10 years ago. He sent it in and hopefully we will get approved soon.

We are both in the same boat... I was asked to submit my wife 2019 tax transcripts and my ID card but the problem we are having now is that my wife social security benefits was not included in her 2019transcripts.. She didn't makes enough for IRS to tax from her social security benefit... Mind you her income added to social security benefit is more than the household I'm just thinking If I have to submit her social security statement of account along with her irs transcript.. My ceac is showing refused what's your own showing?

Hello how are you? My husband has been schedule for an interview 2nd week of January. We do not have any kids and I do not have a medical condition. With the ban Trump put on Nigeria i am very skeptical. What do you advise I do?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
