I will do a detailed summary later. I had an extended wait inside so it took about an hour before they asked me for my birth cert, cert of no impediment and police record. They also took my passport and the I134 and tax transcripts for my petitioner. An hour later I was called forward for the interview. Questions asked after I was sworn in 1. Have I ever been arrested 2. How many times has she visited Jamaica 3. What job was she doing before her current job 4. Have I visited her home in the states? 5. Have we discussed wedding plans as yet? He then commented on the folder that I have and said I seemed like I was prepared but he didn't need to see any of the contents and I would receive my visa in one week. Feel free to let me know if there is anything specific you would like to know. Most importantly, be prepared and try not to get nervous listening to the other interviews.

Well i plan on flying down to accompany my fiance just to eliminate all odds of doubt in the back of their minds. We made a very detailed binder also and he has all the necessary paperwork. Hopefully all will go smoothly for me also. Congratulations and good luck on the marriage

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
